Founded in 1989 and still headquartered in Kaltern an der Weinstraße, it says it runs in over 2,300 properties across Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland, and describes itself as the most-used hotel software in South Tyrol — a claim the stacks in this index broadly support. The product is unusually broad for a regional vendor: reception and back office, facility management, a pre-arrival guest journey with online check-in, spa and seminar modules, POS ordering, payment, rate and revenue tools, and multi-property management, offered either as cloud or as an on-premise install. That breadth is the point. A family-run Alpine resort with a restaurant, a spa and a handful of apartments buys one system where an international chain would assemble four, and ASA's marketplace of integrations then connects it outward to channel managers, booking engines and CRMs.
