Quellenhof Luxury Resorts
Quellenhof Luxury Resorts is the largest and highest-revenue privately owned hotel business in South Tyrol, operated by the Dorfer family, which has held the house since 1923. The group runs four five-star properties: the Quellenhof Luxury Resort Passeier in St. Martin in Passeier (the original house, six guest buildings, ~150 keys), the adults-only Quellenhof See Lodge next door (26 suites and villas around a 105-metre bathing lake, opened April 2022), the Hotel | Chalet Das Alpenschlössel a few minutes away (built 1999), and the Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise on Lake Garda in Veneto (~70 keys, opened 2019). It trades through at least three legal entities: Quellenhof GmbH (VAT IT00679110213, REA BZ-70611, share capital €1,200,000 fully paid, legal representative Heinrich Dorfer) covers Passeier and the See Lodge; Das Alpenschlössel runs on VAT IT01687460210; the Lazise resort on VAT IT02959250214. Quellenhof GmbH's Impressum lists seven CIN accommodation codes, six for the comune of San Martino in Passiria and one for Lazise. The non-room footprint is unusually large even for an Alpine resort group. Passeier alone publishes 10,500 m² of water, sauna and salt worlds, an 18-hole golf course on its doorstep, seven tennis courts, riding, an Acqua Family Parc and Action Park, eight restaurant concepts and a wine cellar. The Gourmetstube 1897 was awarded a MICHELIN star on 24 November 2025 under chef Michael Mayr, with maître and sommelier Matteo Lattanzi. The Medical Center Quellenhof, built in 2010 and now under medical director Dr. Leyla Rafi-Stenger, is a full private clinic offering preventive check-ups, dermatology, endoscopy, surgery, aesthetic medicine, physiotherapy and a biohacking and longevity programme, and it sells combined medical-plus-hotel packages and corporate team check-ups. Dental treatment is offered at the resort. A paid Day Spa is open to non-residents from €356 per person. There are five in-house retail outlets — two fashion and sports boutiques, the Tiroler Goldschmied jeweller, a decoration shop run by Meggy Dorfer and the Wein- & Gourmetladele — plus an own cosmetics line, The Q-Touch, and a separate e-commerce store at shop.quellenhof.it selling cosmetics, food, textiles, sauna goods and a limited Quellenhof × Luis Trenker collection. A property-development arm, Quellenhof Immobilien, builds and sells villas and residences in Meran, Partschins, Lazise, Torri del Benaco and Padenghe sul Garda. The hotel-side technology is a single-vendor estate: Brandnamic GmbH of Brixen supplies the TYPO3 websites, the eHotelier offer and booking layer and its Hospitality Apps suite. Re:Guest handles guest messaging. Usercentrics manages consent. A Clearing Station rate-comparison client injects rating microdata. The e-commerce store is built and hosted by a different agency, hantha of Sarntal, on a Nuxt front end with its own customer accounts and its own payment rail. The group publishes a repeat-guest scheme at each of the four houses: a 5% / 8% / 10% discount on the accommodation price from the 5th, 11th and 20th stay, plus a 'Treuebonus' of 5% and 10% for a second and third stay in the same year, applied at check-out and calculated by averaging all past nights. The qualifying stay count is counted separately at each property and does not travel between them, and chalets and villas — the highest-value inventory — are excluded from both schemes.
