Adyen
PaymentsAdyen is a Dutch financial technology platform that provides end-to-end payment acceptance for large enterprises on a single stack — online, in-app and in-person — combining gateway, risk management, acquiring and settlement, which it can do directly because it holds its own banking licence. Beyond acceptance it sells Adyen Issuing (virtual and physical card issuance), Adyen for Platforms (embedded payments for marketplaces), payouts and business accounts, and a Stored Value API for issuing, activating, loading, balance-checking and merging gift cards. In hospitality it markets a "unified commerce" proposition covering the whole guest journey — booking, check-in, F&B, spa, checkout — with card tokenization for cross-property guest recognition, pre-authorizations with automatic top-ups for incidentals, post-checkout collection of no-shows and late charges, and dynamic currency conversion. It integrates with the major hotel systems (Oracle Hospitality/OPERA, Shiji, Infor HMS, Agilysys, Sabre, Protel, Apaleo, Clock PMS, StayNTouch, TravelClick) and pioneered "proxy tokenization," intercepting the CRS-to-PMS booking message so raw card data never touches the property server.
Gastropool Italien GmbH
Buying groupThe purchasing group for hotels and gastronomy in South Tyrol (Schlachthofstr. 53B, 39100 Bozen), serving ~800 partner businesses with negotiated supplier terms, consolidated monthly invoicing, advisory and a digital platform for purchases, invoices and payments. It also runs member-facing web widgets at secure.gastropool.it/rxwidgets — used by member hotels to collect booking deposits and sell travel-cancellation insurance online.
TWINT
PaymentsTWINT is Switzerland's dominant domestic mobile payment app and digital wallet, operated by TWINT Ltd. of Zurich and owned jointly by the country's largest banks plus SIX and Worldline. The app was built from 2014 by Monexio, a PostFinance subsidiary; today's TWINT AG was formed by the September 2016 merger with Paymit (Zürcher Kantonalbank / SIX), and national ubiquity followed from 2017. It covers QR-code payments in store, e-commerce and express checkout, payment links, POS/terminal integration, recurring payments, P2P transfers, Pay Later (30-day invoice), and cash withdrawal — retailers typically pay around 1.3% per transaction according to Wikipedia. Beyond payments it runs a merchant loyalty and stored-value layer: hosted digital loyalty cards (Code 128/EAN/QR), digital stamp cards, coupons, "Super Deals", third-party digital vouchers and credit (paysafecard, Google Play, Netflix), and an in-app experience-voucher marketplace powered by e-surprise/e-guma selling hotel, wellness and alpine experience vouchers.
HOGAST
Buying groupPurchasing co-operative for hotels and restaurants, and South Tyrol's leading hospitality purchasing organisation. Members buy through framework agreements negotiated by the co-op; alongside procurement it supplies member services including an online payment widget (secure.hogast.it) that hotels embed in their own websites to take deposits and settle bills.
Mews
PMSModern API-first cloud PMS and 'hospitality operating system' with a large marketplace of integrated apps. Beyond the PMS core it ships Mews Distributor (its own commission-free booking engine, served from app.mews.com/distributor/<id>), Mews Payments, Mews POS and Mews Kiosk. Named #1 PMS by Hotel Tech Report three years running; widely deployed across European boutique and mid-scale hotels, including small independent Alpine houses.
PAR Technology Corporation
LoyaltyAn integrated restaurant technology group combining point of sale (PAR POS), back-office operations (PAR Ops), omnichannel ordering and delivery, payments, and the Punchh customer loyalty and engagement platform acquired in 2021. The strategic pitch is one vendor owning transaction, guest identity and loyalty in the same stack.
Shopify
POSGlobal e-commerce platform: hosted storefronts, checkout, payments, customer accounts and order history, plus Shopify POS for physical retail. Not a hospitality product — but increasingly the way hotels with a product line sell it. (The company registry taxonomy has no e-commerce category; filed under POS and payments as the nearest fit.)
Zimres
IBEBooking, guest-communication and payment tool for hotels, deployed on a per-hotel subdomain (e.g. <hotel>-booking.zimres.com) and built on Laravel Livewire. Positioned as a complement to the hotel's existing PMS rather than a replacement: online booking and enquiry from the website with staff-adjustable prices, discounts and conditions, distribution to booking platforms, guest communication and payment. Its product also includes a VOUCHER TOOL that lets guests buy and personalise vouchers on the hotel website with online payment, and transfers the voucher automatically into ASA Hotel for redemption.
