Cookiebot (Cookiebot CMP by Usercentrics)
ConsentCookiebot is a consent management platform (CMP) that puts a cookie/tracking consent banner on a website, automatically scans the domain each month to discover and classify every cookie and third-party script, blocks non-essential trackers until the visitor consents, and stores an auditable consent log. It was launched in Denmark in 2012 by Cybot A/S and merged into Munich-based Usercentrics in September 2021; it is now sold as "Cookiebot by Usercentrics" as the self-service / SMB tier alongside the enterprise Usercentrics CMP. It is a Google-certified CMP with native Google Consent Mode v2 support for GTM, GA4 and Google Ads. The company states it runs on 2.4M+ websites and apps for 600,000+ customers and processes around 8.8B consents per month.
