Winklerhotels
Winklerhotels is a family-owned group of four accommodation properties in the Pustertal valley of South Tyrol, run by the third and fourth generation of the Winkler family from Montal (San Lorenzo di Sebato) at the foot of the Kronplatz ski mountain. The operating company is Winklerhotels GmbH, Montal 42, 39030 St. Lorenzen (BZ), VAT IT02505060216, REA BZ-183313, share capital €10,000 fully paid, with Kurt Winkler as legal representative. The Private Luxury Chalet Purmontes trades separately on VAT 02510670215 under Kurt Winkler personally and is registered with the South Tyrolean tourism board as a five-flower farm holiday property. The four houses are: HOTEL LANERHOF in Montal, the original property, 4-star-superior at 873 m, roughly 65 keys and 180 beds across 19 room categories from 22 m² to a 170 m² studio, with a 3,000 m² spa, an adjoining Residence, a petting zoo and a children's and teenagers' programme; HOTEL WINKLER SPORT & SPA RESORT in Stefansdorf, 5-star at 946 m, 85 rooms and suites and 240 beds across 24 categories, a 3,500 m² spa with seven pools and 500 m² of water surface including a 25 × 8 m outdoor infinity pool, an adults-only rooftop pool, a 150 m² indoor sports hall, a climbing wall, a cinema and an outdoor shop; HOTEL SOLVIE in Pfalzen, 5-star at 1,022 m, 87 rooms and suites, a 5,000 m² garden, a 25 × 7 m adults-only sky pool, a natural bathing pond and a multi-level spa; and CHALET PURMONTES above Montal, five 80–130 m² suites with 14 beds, each with its own year-round heated infinity pool, a Gault&Millau-rated kitchen under chef Fabian Oberhauser and a private concierge service. The group's history runs from the 1930s, when Hermann Winkler began letting six rooms at the Lanerhof farm, through Walter Winkler's purchase of the Pension Messner in Stefansdorf in 1983 and the Sonnenhof in Pfalzen in 2004, to the 2007 handover to his children Kurt and Miriam. Since then the Pension Messner has become the 5-star Hotel Winkler (rebuilt in six months in 2017), Chalet Purmontes was built alongside a new riding stable in 2018, and the Sonnenhof was closed for a full rebuild and reopened in June 2025 as the 5-star Hotel Solvie. Walter Winkler died in 2022 at the age of 78. Beyond rooms the group operates a set of separately priced services: eight holistic Focus Programmes priced from €290 to €920 per package and more than eighty individual spa treatments, a Day Spa at Hotel Solvie open to non-residents at €139 including a late breakfast, an in-house riding stable with two indoor arenas, two outdoor arenas, a riding school, guided rides and boarding boxes for guests' own horses, an outdoor equipment shop, e-bike hire, priced late check-out, and curated experiences from guided ski and bike tours to helicopter flights and a sports-car touring week. Rates are not published: every room page carries 'price on request', and each house has its own telephone number and e-mail address. Board is included in the rate — three-quarter gourmet board at Lanerhof, Winkler and Purmontes, half-board at Solvie. Technically the group runs a single TYPO3 website built and operated by Brandnamic (Brixen), a HotelNetSolutions OnePageBooking version 6 booking engine configured as one multi-property instance covering all four houses, a group-wide Brandnamic voucher shop, online deposit payments through the HOGAST purchasing co-operative's payment widget, an AI Kosmo chat and voice assistant, Usercentrics consent management, and a separate Alpin Ads landing-page and performance-marketing setup for Hotel Solvie. There is no guest login, member area, mobile app or points programme anywhere in the estate. The group is listed with Hideaways Hotels, Südtirol Hotels, Golfhotels, Wellness Heaven, RELAX Guide and Mein Tophotel.
