About TYPO3
TYPO3 is an open-source PHP content management system, in development since 1998, with an unusually strong position in German-speaking enterprise and public-sector web estates. In hotel stacks it turns up at groups and associations rather than single houses: it handles multi-site, multi-language structures and granular editorial permissions well, at the cost of needing an agency to run it. Where a property has TYPO3, the agency relationship is effectively part of the stack.

Hotel Website & CMS
The content system behind the hotel website. Diagnostic value is high: a flat-file CMS has no database, so there is physically nowhere for a guest record to live.
