Naturns / Naturno, Italy
Preidlhof Luxury DolceVita Resort
A 5-star adults-only (16+) luxury wellness, spa and medical-spa resort at 572 m in Naturns/Naturno, in the Vinschgau at the mouth of the Meran basin. 71 rooms and suites for roughly 140 guests, trading as Hotel Preidlhof GmbH / HOTEL PREIDLHOF SRL — VAT IT01116680214, REA BZ 100786, incorporated 3 December 1983, share capital €55,000, CIN IT021056A1LQEXOO3L — and owned and run by the Ladurner family. The house opened in 1966 as a nine-room Pension Ladurner taking spa guests and has been rebuilt in stages ever since: indoor pool 1976, the farm 'Preidl' demolished 1983 and the new Hotel Preidlhof built 1984, first underground garage 1991, kitchen and vinothek 1994, bio suites 1995, outdoor pool 1998, tropical indoor pool 1999, water worlds 2005, the Sonnenschlössl with spa 2008, the Sauna Tower 2013, the indoor pool 'The 50th' 2016, the Dolce Vita Lodge and infinity sports pool 2017 (a €6M refurbishment that added 36 luxury suites and five penthouse suites), an outdoor private spa with four whirlpools 2021, the Infinity Rooftop Spa 2023, and most recently a year-round −10 °C Snow Room. The spa is the business. 5,500 m² of wellness: a six-floor Sauna Tower with 16 experiences, 14 pools and whirlpools, nine treatment rooms, two outdoor massage lounges, two gazebos, a spa suite, two gyms, a yoga pavilion and gardens, plus a separate Preidl Med Spa with resident doctors. The house has won an unusually deep award record — Tatler's best spa in the world 2019 (Infinity & Beyond), European Health & Spa Awards, World Luxury Spa Awards, Haute Grandeur, Destination Deluxe, Falstaff Spa Award 99/100, Gault & Millau three toques for the DolceVita Stuben, and it was the first wellness spa in Europe certified to ISO 17679:2016. Nine 'Transformational Wellness Programmes' are run with named practitioners, and the house markets its own award-winning 'Preidlhof Spa Skincare' line through a separate online shop. Commercially it sits inside an unusually dense web of affiliations: the five-hotel Konsortium Dolce Vita Hotels (whose registered office is Preidlhof's own address), Belvita, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Vinum Hotels, Wellness Premium Selection, Premium Spa Resorts, Medical Hotels and Booking Südtirol. The consortium's core promise — 'book one hotel, enjoy five', free and cashless access to the spas, six gourmet restaurants, fitness, culture and VIP shopping benefits of all five houses — is a live cross-company entitlement network between five separately owned companies. The technology estate is correspondingly split. The website is TYPO3 built and operated by mindpark advertising (Imst, Austria) with a self-hosted CCM19 consent manager; direct booking runs on Seekda KUBE at booking.preidlhof.com with Datatrans as the payment provider; a second booking path runs on Sabre SynXis for Preferred Hotels & Resorts; guest-facing programme, treatment catalogue and 'My Holiday' area run on Guestnet; newsletter and marketing automation run on ADDITIVE+ Marketing Cloud; gift vouchers are sold from a self-hosted voucher builder on an intranet subdomain; and the skincare shop is a separate storefront by piloly.com. The consortium website is a different stack again — TYPO3 with Brandnamic assets, Usercentrics and a group Seekda instance — so a guest of this house is described by at least two separate marketing platforms and buys stored value from at least two separate voucher systems.

Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a soft-brand consortium for independent luxury hotels, founded in 1968 by 12 North American hoteliers as a referral organisation and headquartered in Newport Beach, California. Its I Prefer Hotel Rewards programme, launched in 2006 and now claiming 6M+ enrolled members, sits on top of member-hotel inventory: guests earn 10 points per dollar of room spend and redeem into cash-value Reward Certificates ($25 to $500) that hotels must accept as payment against room charges. It is a division of family-owned Preferred Travel Group (rebranded from Preferred Hotel Group in January 2023), which also runs Beyond Green, Historic Hotels of America/Worldwide and PTG Consulting.
