Mals / Malles Venosta, Italy
Garberhof
A 4-star-superior design, spa and wine hotel on the main road through Mals at 1,050 m in the Upper Vinschgau, positioned explicitly as 'Silent Luxury'. Trades as Pobitzer Artur & Co. OHG — an unlimited partnership (offene Handelsgesellschaft / s.n.c.), VAT IT01508790217, REA BZ-125520, CIN IT021046A1SNTBA8B6, with Artur Pobitzer as registered managing director. 43 rooms, suites and chalets across 12 published categories, from a 38 m² double to the 100 m² Hortus Chalet with a 30 m² terrace; almost every unit has a balcony or terrace of 10–30 m². Gourmet half-board. Published rates of €232–318 per person per night make this the most expensive of the South Tyrolean properties indexed here. The house opened on 8 August 1981 as 'eine einfache Wanderpension' run by Artur and Cilly Pobitzer, and has been rebuilt in stages ever since: Italy's largest hotel hamam in 2009, guest rooms in 2010, chalets, bar, sauna house and pool in 2017, a nine-week programme in 2022 covering rooms, the lounge bar, the spa, a new facade and a bio natural bathing pond, and in DECEMBER 2025 a complete redesign of the dining rooms in Ceppo di Gré stone and local timber plus a modernised kitchen. The 'Mii:amo Spa' runs to 2,200 m² by their own count (Leading Spa Resorts describes the wellness world as 'over 3,000 m²' including the outdoor areas). It is now run by the second generation, Klaus and Yanelys Pobitzer — who met in Central America, hence the house's own description of itself as a blend of 'Vinschgauer Bodenständigkeit und kubanisches Temperament' — with three sons, Felix Luis, Felipe and Francisco. Klaus Pobitzer is a trained sommelier as well as a hotelier. The distinctive asset is a retail brand. 'Garberhof Feinkost' is an own-label product line — gin co-created with Alessandro Secci, plus prosecco, oil, vinegar, apple juice and jam made with named regional producers — sold on its own domain (garberhof-food.com), at the hotel reception and across the Lounge Bar 1981. Same VAT number, so it sits inside the hotel company rather than beside it. Memberships and labels: Vinum Hotels, Leading Spa Resorts, Relax Guide, Falstaff, Amazing Places, Chosen by Architects. Commercially the stack is agency-run: TYPO3 built by tt•consulting in Lana, the same agency as Tuberis, with the Zimres booking engine on their own subdomain and online payments through HOGAST's secure widget. There is no CRM, no member area, no guest app and no repeat-guest programme anywhere in it.

Core Operations & Property Management 1
Property Management System likely
ASA Hotelsoftware (ASA)
Property management system — inferred, NOT observed
The dominant South Tyrolean hotel property management system, founded in Kaltern in 1989 and now selling across Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Sells a full suite around the PMS — reservations, front office and folio, plus booking, channel and CRM/marketing modules — and in 2025 became the PMS partner of Romantik Hotels, its first large multi-property European win. Family-owned rather than PE- or exchange-backed, which shows in a slow, integration-friendly product cadence.
Marketing, CRM & Direct Booking 4
Zimres
Booking engine (IBE) on their own subdomain — and possibly the voucher platform too
Booking, guest-communication and payment tool for hotels, deployed on a per-hotel subdomain (e.g. <hotel>-booking.zimres.com) and built on Laravel Livewire. Positioned as a complement to the hotel's existing PMS rather than a replacement: online booking and enquiry from the website with staff-adjustable prices, discounts and conditions, distribution to booking platforms, guest communication and payment. Its product also includes a VOUCHER TOOL that lets guests buy and personalise vouchers on the hotel website with online payment, and transfers the voucher automatically into ASA Hotel for redemption.
TYPO3
Website CMS (with the Powermail form extension)
Open-source enterprise content management system, widely used in German-speaking Europe.
tt•consulting (TT GmbH) & tt-digital
Web agency — concept, design, programming, consulting and marketing
Tourism consulting and marketing agency at Eurocenter Block A, Industriezone 1-5, 39011 Lana, trading as tt•consulting (TT GmbH). Sells 'Konzept, Design, Programmierung, Beratung und Marketing' to hotels — but unlike a pure web shop it also runs its own product line under the tt-digital brand: a newsletter/subscription platform, an online gift-voucher shop widget, a first-party visitor tracker (ttracker.js) and a marketing-attribution helper, plus a Powermail-to-ASA bridge that posts website enquiries straight into the hotel's PMS. Builds on TYPO3 with a self-managed tarteaucitron consent layer as the house default. Headquartered in Lana, the same town as ADDITIVE.
Social Media & Content Marketing
Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
Social presence (Facebook, Instagram) — reach only
Owner of Facebook and Instagram, and of the Meta Pixel used for website conversion tracking and retargeting.
Data, Integrations & Infrastructure 2
tarteaucitron.js
Cookie consent manager
Open-source cookie and tracking consent manager, widely used in France and deployed via its own CDN (cdntag.tarteaucitron.io). Self-managed: consent purposes are configured in code by whoever maintains the site, not in a vendor console.
Google Analytics & Tag Manager
Analytics and tag management
Google's web analytics (GA4) and tag management (GTM) stack — the near-universal default for hotel websites, usually deployed as a single GTM container that loads GA4, ad pixels and consent tooling.
Demand Networks & Affiliation 4
Leading Spa Resorts
Consortium membership
International (DACH-focused) quality alliance of spa and wellness hotels, with published member profiles carrying room categories and indicative rates. Membership signals an audited spa standard rather than a distribution contract.
Vinum Hotels Südtirol
Consortium membership — wine-led South Tyrolean hotels
South Tyrolean consortium of wine-led hotels. Members commit to a curated cellar, sommelier competence and wine-centred guest experiences — tastings, cellar tours, winery partnerships and pairing menus — and are marketed jointly under the Vinum label.
Destination & Regional Tourism
LTS AG (Landesverband der Tourismusorganisationen Südtirols)
Regional master data (Open Data Hub)
Operator of the South Tyrolean tourism data and availability infrastructure. LTS is the licence holder and source of record for accommodation master data published through IDM Südtirol's Open Data Hub (tourism.opendatahub.com) and re-used by suedtirol.info, vinschgau.net and every local destination portal. It also underpins MSS (Marketing System Südtirol), the regional availability/booking layer.
Purchasing Group & Co-operative
HOGAST
Online payment rail — and therefore a purchasing-co-operative membership
Purchasing co-operative for hotels and restaurants, and South Tyrol's leading hospitality purchasing organisation. Members buy through framework agreements negotiated by the co-op; alongside procurement it supplies member services including an online payment widget (secure.hogast.it) that hotels embed in their own websites to take deposits and settle bills.

Running several of these systems at once?
Blue connects an existing hotel stack into one guest profile and one loyalty balance across every property — without replacing the PMS.
