Simple Booking is the flagship hotel booking engine / central reservation system of QNT S.r.l., a Florence-based hospitality software firm founded in 2001 and acquired by Italy's Zucchetti Group in January 2018 (Zucchetti's fourth hotel-tech acquisition in ~14 months, alongside Vertical Booking, GP Dati and Nice Informatica). The suite spans the direct-booking engine, channel manager, metasearch distribution, a Rate Match parity tool and business analytics, and is aimed at boutique, luxury and multi-property groups — strong in Italy and the Alpine/DACH market. Beyond core distribution it ships a Loyalty Club module for running online loyalty programmes with instant rewarding, a Mini Shop for selling vouchers and gift cards, and Converto CRM for quotations. It reports 7,000+ properties in 75+ countries and in June 2026 released MCP connectors letting AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT query rates and book directly.

SynXis is one of the two or three dominant global hotel central reservation systems, holding rates, inventory and availability and pushing them to the brand website, OTAs, GDS and voice channels; it is bundled with a booking engine, a PMS (Property Hub), a retailing module (Retail Studio) and a unified guest profile (Guest Experience). The business began as SynXis Corporation in 1996, was bought by Sabre in 2005 for $41M, and was sold by Sabre to private-equity firm TPG for $1.1B in a deal that closed on 3 July 2025. On 27 January 2026 it rebranded from Sabre Hospitality Solutions to Aven Hospitality under CEO Teresa Mackintosh — sabrehospitality.com now 301-redirects to avenhospitality.com, so the customer-facing name is changing. It reports 35,000+ hotels in 175 countries and 600+ integrations, and in July 2023 it acquired UK-based Techsembly specifically for hotel gift-card and property e-commerce capability aimed at the luxury segment.
