Ginto (Verein Sitios)
Ginto is a Swiss accessibility-information platform operated by Verein Sitios, a non-profit association founded in Zurich in 2022 by Pro Infirmis, the Förderverein Barrierefreie Schweiz and the AccessibilityGuide association. It collects structured, measured accessibility data on hotels, restaurants, museums, transport and leisure venues (door widths, lifts, thresholds, bed and table heights, routes, plus photos) and serves it through a consumer app and web guide where each user matches venues against a personal needs profile. Hotels get their data captured either by self-declaration via the app under the OK:GO initiative or by paid on-site surveys, then publish it as a per-venue web link, an embeddable web component on their own site, or via free open-data APIs into partner booking and destination platforms. Sunstar Hotels (Fred Tschanz Group) is a published reference case;
