- SIHOT
SIHOT is a German, owner-managed hospitality software vendor (legal entity GUBSE AG) that has built modular hotel-management software since 1986, deployable cloud, SaaS or on-premise. Its suite spans four core products — SIHOT.PMS (property management), SIHOT.WEB (direct booking engine), SIHOT.POS (point of sale) and SIHOT.C&B (conference & banqueting) — extended by ~22 add-on modules. Those modules include SIHOT.LOYALTY (loyalty cards, revenue-to-bonus-points conversion with expiry periods, rate-type entitlements), SIHOT.CRM (guest segmentation and campaigns) and SIHOT.VOUCHER (voucher sale, redemption, tax handling and outstanding-liability tracking). SIHOT@360° is its API-first integration layer, fronting a partner marketplace of 200+ certified apps across categories including CRM and Marketing, Payment Providers and Guest Experience.
- The Hotels Network
The Hotels Network (THN) is a Barcelona-based hospitality technology company founded in 2015 by Juanjo Rodriguez that sells a direct-booking growth layer installed as a script on a hotel's own website. Its core is predictive personalisation and conversion tooling — price comparison, exit-intent messaging, A/B testing, dynamic content swaps and AI agents (KITT, Superpilot) — plus BenchDirect benchmarking and rate-parity monitoring. Critically, it also ships a Vouchers & Gift Cards module selling gift cards, refund vouchers and reward vouchers in multiple currencies with redemption tracking inside THN's own platform. Lighthouse, the London-headquartered commercial-intelligence unicorn, acquired THN in April 2025 and now markets it as the marketing arm of a single hotel commercial platform.
- TWINT
TWINT is Switzerland's dominant domestic mobile payment app and digital wallet, operated by TWINT Ltd. of Zurich and owned jointly by the country's largest banks plus SIX and Worldline. The app was built from 2014 by Monexio, a PostFinance subsidiary; today's TWINT AG was formed by the September 2016 merger with Paymit (Zürcher Kantonalbank / SIX), and national ubiquity followed from 2017. It covers QR-code payments in store, e-commerce and express checkout, payment links, POS/terminal integration, recurring payments, P2P transfers, Pay Later (30-day invoice), and cash withdrawal — retailers typically pay around 1.3% per transaction according to Wikipedia. Beyond payments it runs a merchant loyalty and stored-value layer: hosted digital loyalty cards (Code 128/EAN/QR), digital stamp cards, coupons, "Super Deals", third-party digital vouchers and credit (paysafecard, Google Play, Netflix), and an in-app experience-voucher marketplace powered by e-surprise/e-guma selling hotel, wellness and alpine experience vouchers.
- aleno
aleno is a Zurich-headquartered hospitality software company, founded in 2015 by restaurateur Ivica Balenovic, that sells a "digital assistant" for restaurants and hotel F&B: reservations and AI table assignment, 360° guest profiles/CRM, retention marketing, no-show prevention with prepayment, and revenue/capacity analytics. It positions itself as the data hub between the hotel PMS and the restaurant floor, with 30+ marketplace integrations to Opera, Protel, Fidelio, Mews and Apaleo on the PMS side and Lightspeed, Hypersoft and Simphony on the POS side, plus a broad set of DACH payment gateways including TWINT, Datatrans, SIX and Worldline. It also ships a permanently free voucher/gift-card module, introduced during COVID and reported in use in over 1,500 venues. Its channel-management integrations include Zermatt Tourismus, which is consistent with its appearance in the Matterhorn Group Zermatt stack.
- Sabre Hospitality / Aven Hospitality (SynXis)
SynXis is one of the two or three dominant global hotel central reservation systems, holding rates, inventory and availability and pushing them to the brand website, OTAs, GDS and voice channels; it is bundled with a booking engine, a PMS (Property Hub), a retailing module (Retail Studio) and a unified guest profile (Guest Experience). The business began as SynXis Corporation in 1996, was bought by Sabre in 2005 for $41M, and was sold by Sabre to private-equity firm TPG for $1.1B in a deal that closed on 3 July 2025. On 27 January 2026 it rebranded from Sabre Hospitality Solutions to Aven Hospitality under CEO Teresa Mackintosh — sabrehospitality.com now 301-redirects to avenhospitality.com, so the customer-facing name is changing. It reports 35,000+ hotels in 175 countries and 600+ integrations, and in July 2023 it acquired UK-based Techsembly specifically for hotel gift-card and property e-commerce capability aimed at the luxury segment.
- Zimres
Booking, guest-communication and payment tool for hotels, deployed on a per-hotel subdomain (e.g. <hotel>-booking.zimres.com) and built on Laravel Livewire. Positioned as a complement to the hotel's existing PMS rather than a replacement: online booking and enquiry from the website with staff-adjustable prices, discounts and conditions, distribution to booking platforms, guest communication and payment. Its product also includes a VOUCHER TOOL that lets guests buy and personalise vouchers on the hotel website with online payment, and transfers the voucher automatically into ASA Hotel for redemption.
